This Sionian Life
Dear Sionian Life,
Hi producers of This Sionian Life. My name is Mary Helen and I am a freshman at Notre Dame de Sion. I want to pitch you a story about the first day in the life of a freshman. I experienced this day only a few weeks ago. The first day of freshman year can be a bit intimidating. You have so much running through your head, most of which is nerves created by the fear of the unknown. There are numerous questions presented in your mind. Is your locker going to open? Or will it be jammed? Are you going to be able to find all your classes? How much homework am I going to have? Who will my close friends be?
I pulled up into the Sion parking lot at around 7:45, where then I would proceed to the gym for the start of it all. I was excited yet nervous at the same time. All these unanswered questions were swirling through my brain. I was given my planer and schedule then patiently waited in a circle with 117 my fellow freshman students. This was only the beginning of an adventurous day.
If you are interested about hearing more about my first day as a freshman, I look forward to explaining it in more detail. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Mary Helen
